Question
If I turn off EU countries in my shop, am I sorted?

Switching off EU shipping makes the problem go away entirely.
It stops new sales. It does not settle obligations from sales already made.
What it does
- Stops you sending any more packaging to those countries from that date.
What it does not do
- Deal with packaging you have already sent to those countries.
- In most countries these rules have existed for years, long before the new EU ones.
Before switching a country off
- Get a real quote first. Sellers often drop countries based on a cost they never actually checked.
- If you should have registered before and did not, ask about registering late rather than ignoring it.
