The problem
- Small sellers are stopping selling to the EU because nobody explains the rules in plain English.
- Most available guidance is written by firms selling compliance services.
- If you send a few hundred parcels a year, a handful of countries are usually worth registering for and the rest are not.
What this site does
- Tells you which rules apply to your business.
- Links to the official source for everything it says.
- Says clearly what we have not checked yet, rather than hiding it.
- Says plainly where the law is not settled, especially the Northern Ireland question about representatives.
Keeping it current
- Every page shows the date its content was reviewed.
- Every content change is recorded in the changelog.
- These rules keep changing, so a page with no date on it is not much use.

- Free and independent.
- Not affiliated with any authority, producer responsibility organisation or marketplace.
- No commercial relationship with any compliance provider. If that changes it will be stated on the page where it matters.
